Automatic sitemaps for SEO

Brandkit now automatically generates a sitemap.xml file for your Brandkit portal.

That said you can also block Search engine robots from indexing your site in Settings > General.

What is a sitemap?

A sitemap is a file where you provide information about the pages, videos, and other files on your site, and the relationships between them. Search engines like Google read this file to crawl your site more efficiently.

A sitemap tells search engines which pages and files you think are important in your site, and also provides valuable information about these files. For example, when the page was last updated and any alternate language versions of the page. (Source: Google.)

Example sitemap

This is an example of the sitemap generated automatically for this website:

What do I need to do.

Nothing to do. A sitemap.xml file will be generated automatically for you and referenced in your robots.text file.

This can be seen in Admin > Settings > General > Robots.txt settings.

Happy branding :)
