Mitsubishi New Zealand's history in New Zealand is closely tied to the Todd Corporation. In 1870, the Todd Group was central to the wool trade in Otago. Its founders saw the need for transportation and opened a network of repair garages in the early 20th century.

This understanding of what New Zealanders need from their vehicles led the Todd Group to secure the franchise for Mitsubishi cars, trucks and buses in 1970. Three years later, our assembly plant at Porirua opened and the Mitsubishi vehicles you grew up with made their way into the nation’s garages.

Although assembly ceased in Porirua in 1998, the Todd Group continues to provide the vehicles Kiwis want and lead the way with the efficient technology the world needs.

2017 marked 100 years of vehicle innovation for Mitsubishi and we’re already shaping the vehicles of the future.

To this very day you can still find their head office in Porirua (New Zealand).

Supporting Mitsubishi dealers with better systems was a vital

Dealers and the Dealer Network are vital to the success of Mitsubishi.

Before Brandkit, the marketing team was constantly juggling marketing resources and responding to requests from dealers.

Assets were in many different places, and hard to find and share. Dealers were often asking for content and tearing their hair out waiting it, or perhaps just using what they had rather than the latest materials.

Today MMNZ supports their New Zealand dealers with Mitsubishi Motors Brand Lab.

The Brand Lab is a Mitsubishi branded and customised Brandkit chock full of dealer ready marketing resources such as Product Photography, Life-style Photography, Video, Ads, Social Media content, Templates, Brochures and more.

Plus the Brand Lab provides the ability for Dealers to order physical marketing materials as well. Rounding out the dealer support with an array of both digital and physical marketing resources, to ensure eveyone is on the same page and telling the Mitsubishi story in a consistent way across the country.

MMNZ's Brand Lab utilises Brandkit's Shoppable Asset link feature - so that dealers can easily find, download digital assets, AND order physical materials in one place.

Brandkit supports Shoppable Asset links on digital assets. So Mitsubishi Motors Dealers can not only download digital assets (e.g. a Vehicle brochure as a digital PDF), but also order physical marketing resources (e.g. a physical printed version of the brochure) via an integrated order form.

First. Dealers find brochure assets via a menu option, a search or an album.

Second. From the Brochure Asset page - dealers can download a digital version (e.g. PDF), or order the physical printed item from MMNZ HQ.

Third: Dealers add an order quantity and submit their order which is sent to MMNZ HQ for fulfillment.
