We've recently pushed a small change (in Brandkit) to Descriptions in Asset Metadata.
In Brandkit the Short Description field (limited to 256 characters) is also used for the Meta Description used by search engines (and SEO) when indexing any page.

Combined with the Meta Title (which comes from Asset Title) these provide search engines (such as Google) a way to describe the page that they are pointing to in search results.
From today we’re making this a little more obvious by changing where this text appears in the (1) Asset Preview Modal, (2) Asset Detail Page and (3) Download forms.

Generally the Short Description will now appear immediately underneath the Asset Title.
