Brandkit Policy on Guest Posts and Backlinks

We get asked a lot about guest posts, collaborations, and backlinks.
Here's where we stand, so you know before you reach out.
We respect our audience and value their trust. The last thing we want to do is alienate them with low quality irrelevant content.
Keep this in mind if you want us to share your content or back-link somewhere. Quality and relevance (does it add value) is important to us.
We don't do paid
- We don't pay for backlinks, guest posts, or mentions.
- We don't accept payment for them either.
Backlinks: direct swaps only, quality sites only
We love back-links (and the SEO juice for our own domain) as much as you do - but not at the cost of wasting our audience's time, or compromising our findings or advice.
- Backlinks MUST BE RELEVANT to the post and should add value or provide factual data reference or research.
- We'll swap back-links directly — you link to us, we link to you.
- We don't link to 3rd parties or your partners (unless that is a link to an original source factual supporting data/research/reference that is relevant to the article).
- and we don't do indirect arrangements.
- Backlinks should be to quality sites with decent traffic/audiences.
Guest posts: yes, if they fit
You're welcome to write an article for our blog if:
- It's genuinely useful to our audience of professional marketers, CMOs, content managers, social media coordinators, brand advisors and consultants, digital asset managers, public relations agencies, brand and marketing teams.
- It fits our area of interest and topic we cover (branding, photography, video, brand visuals, media asset management, content marketing, brand management, digital asset management, destination marketing, content management, brand knowledge, place branding, brand context for AI, RAD data for AI, MCP Apps, Authenticity)
- You write it yourself — no ghostwritten SEO filler
B-Authentic
- Any photographic images used in Posts must be authentic photos - no generated photos will be accepted.
- Different story for Infographics - we will accept generated graphics provided they are of high quality and accurate (e.g. graphs should correctly reflect research/statistics)
- Claims, statements that you make must be true or factual unless you make it clear that it is an opinion (e.g. in your opinion), or a fiction (e.g. a fictional example).
- Quotes by people should be real quotes made by real people and include their name, job title and company (if a business quote).
- Any source, reference or research must include links to that research or source so that the reader can verify data, claims.
