Updated: User Feedback survey feature now with 5-star CSAT, and survey interval options
We’ve updated the User Feedback survey feature built into Brandkit.
Before today only 0-10 NPS type surveys were available, but it’s now easy to switch to 5 star CSAT if you prefer.
User Feedback Surveys are optional and off by default, but available to all accounts cross Team, Pro and Enterprise Editions.

You can now select between two different survey rating types:
- CSAT style 5 stars
- NPS style 0-10 rating
To change the survey style:
- Navigate to Admin > Settings > General
- Scroll down to Enable Feedback section > Feedback rating type
- Select either 5 Star CSAT or 0-10 NPS options

New modal
The Feedback survey is now presented in a pop up modal after every download (subject to configurable interval period - see below). Plus it is also accessible at any time via the Me menu (see below).

Users can close or ignore the modal by clicking elsewhere.
New survey interval
To avoid asking users too often to respond to a survey, You can now set an interval (a number of days) between surveys for each user.
This means that if a user has already responded to a survey, they will not be presented the survey again, until the interval has passed.
You can specify a number of days (e.g. 30, 60, 90, etc) and the survey will not be shown again until that interval has passed.
- Navigate to Admin > Settings > General
- Scroll down to Enable Feedback section > Feedback interval
- Enter a number of days (e.g. 30, 60, 90, etc)
- Scroll down Save your changes,
Default is 30 days.
Custom forms
The basic Feedback Survey asks for a simple Rating (either a 5 star CSAT style or 0-10 NPS type), but without any supporting question or text input.

However it’s easy to add additional questions or inputs using the Custom Forms feature in Brandkit.
To add a custom form:
- Navigate to Admin > Settings > Forms
- Add a form called e.g. “Feedback form” and add your questions
- In Settings > General scroll to Feedback form and select your new form.
Reporting
The Feedback Report has also been updated and includes new columns for:
- Out of
- Rating type.

You can also download the Feedback report as a CSV file from the Feedback Report in Admin.
Send feedback option from Me menu.
Users can optionally send feedback anytime from the Me menu, irrespective of any survey interval and without having to download.
