Q. How do I tag my slides to show up in specific albums?
Albums are essentially Saved Searches, and so to add an slide , presentation or any other Asset to an Album, you just have to have metadata or tags that match the Search Query of the Album you are targeting.
Example: If you have an Album titled Presentations, that has a Search query searching for the Tag: “Slide”, all you have to do is tag your slide Assets as “Slide:, and they will appear in the Album.
Note: Assets must be Active to appear in the Album in the Portal.
So:
Tag your slide Asset as “Slide”
Check your Album has the Search Query setup to search for: Tag: Slide or just Slide
Note: If your slide was a presentation file type (e.g. .pptx) You could also use the “Asset Type:Presentation” search query (versus Tag) as an alternative. This has the advantage of automatically picking up any presentation asset types.
