Changes to Licence settings
We’ve made some improvements to Licences /Licensing in Brandkit.
You can now set a default Asset Licence
You can now set a default Licence to be applied to new Assets.
This is helpful if you always want attribution to your Brand, company or organisation, If so this save one step in the publishing process.
Once you have your Licences setup (Admin > Settings > Licences) and your Credits setup (Admin > Settings > Credits):
- Navigate tp Admin > Settings > General
- Scroll down to the Default Credit section
- Select a default Credit (or leave as No default credit if you prefer)
- Save

(Fig: Screenshot Default Credit Settings)
Once set - every time you upload a new Asset, the default Credit will be added.
You can now add an Asset’s Credit to your Licence wording dynamically.
You can now dynamically incorporate an Asset’s Credit in the Licence wording for any Licence that requires attribution. This means the Licence wording can stand alone without the additional Credit field, and the Credit name is always included in the Licence wording itself.
You use Mustache variables, in this case the {{Credit) variable, to dynamically insert the value in the Credit’s Display Name field into your Licence wording.
