Can I limit how many Assets a user can download at once?
No - in Brandkit 2 it's no longer possible to set an arbitrary limit on how many Assets a user can download at once.
And there is no arbitrary all time limit either,
However you can navigate to Admin > Settings > User Roles > Role
And....

Give a specific User Role Request rights only, instead of Download and Share permissions. That way Admins get to approve every Download and can remove Assets from a Request before approving the Request.

Remove the Select ability for a specific User Role to disable the Basket functionality for those Users. This will mean that users can only download one at a time from the Search Results - providing friction that reduces downloads naturally.

Brandkit 2 no longer supports arbitrary or all-time download limits. To control downloads, use Admin > Settings > User Roles to set roles to Request rights only (admin approval required) and disable basket access, forcing one-asset-at-a-time downloads.
