What is a BrandBot?
A BrandBot is a custom AI assistant or chatbot, powered by Brandkit, that understands your brand, and is built to answer a user's questions about your brand, and/or your brand assets.
It understands your brand through your brand assets (e.g. logos, images, video, pdfs, etc) and knowledge assets (e.g. Brand Guidelines, FAQs, etc) published in your Brandkit account.
This explicitly published brand intelligence is combined with a foundation model's (e.g. ChatGPT) general knowledge —to power the chat experience.
What can BrandBot do?
BrandBot can answer questions like:
- Can I use this logo in Print?
- What is the primary brand color
- Where do I find logo artwork?
- Does this marketing copy meet the brand's tone of voice requirements?
- What font should I use?
- Can I use this image in social media?
- Do I need to credit this image? and if so who to?
- What is the brand's origin story?
- What is the current brand narrative?
- What is our ICP (Ideal Customer Profile)?

Multiple BrandBots
You can create multiple BrandBot's in your account and deploy these ion your Brand Portal, on selected CMS pages, or even embed them on other websites.
Can I customise my BrandBots
Yes, each BrandBot is customisable in several ways:
- Prompt (directive)
- Introduction Text
- Three Initial Questions
- Avatar
- Icon
- Icon background colour and shape
- Knowledge Sources
Reporting
A BrandBot consumes tokens for both input and output.
- Token consumption is recorded and presented in AI Reports, and the Content Analytics Dashboard.
- Conversations are recorded and available for review
- User can rate conversation answers with thumbs up or down and these are recorded for analysis and improvement.
- Admins can improve answers in real-time by adding or editing FAQ's.
What do BrandBot's cost.
The BrandBot feature is a paid Add-on available on all Editions (Team, Pro and Enterprise).
Refer to the pricing page for add-on pricing - currently an additional $99/mth for unlimited Bots.
Note that AI tokens used by BrandBots are covered by your Brandkit Edition's Plan. Additional fees may apply, should your usage exceed your Account's included Usage.
