Q. Does Brandkit have an “export” feature to download all our assets?
A customers asks “Does Brandkit have an “export” feature where we could automate retrieval of all our assets? I suppose another way to ask this would be, is there a limit on the number of items in the Basket and a way to select all? This was a question from the VPs just in case, for whatever reason, we decide we need to archive everything locally, or move on from Brandkit for whatever reason.”

- Customers can select multiple Assets into the Basket and download as a batch. How many you can download at once will depend on the size of files. This is because each batch is zipped up on our servers before downloading and there are memory limits for this zipping process. Generally we recommend download in batches of approximately 100 files at a time.
Note: There is a limit number of 100 assets per download if you choose to download them with a custom size/conversion (i.e. not the Orginal) — because each file is re-sized on the fly.

If you have an Enterprise edition account with Enterprise Backup enabled - we have already automatically sent a copy of all your files to your own AWS S3 bucket. So you can just access that bucket to find all your files. This backup runs daily.

You can ask the Brandkit support team to download the files for you and copy to an online storage services you provide access to e.g. Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, etc. This will incur a service fee which we will quote at the time.
