Can I restrict access to my Brandkit account to my organisation's network?
Yes. We can limit your Brandkit account so it can only be reached from IP addresses you approve. Anyone connecting from another address sees an "Access denied" page, even with a valid login.
This is especially useful if your organisation sends its internet traffic through a secure proxy or gateway. With a proxy, all your users reach the internet from the proxy's IP addresses. If we allow only those addresses, Brandkit can only be used through your proxy, and any access that bypasses it is blocked. It also works without a proxy, for example to allow only your office network or VPN.
The restriction covers your admin area, your portal and the API, including integrations that connect through your API keys.
You can approve single IP addresses or whole ranges, in IPv4 or IPv6. To turn it on, send us the addresses or ranges you want to allow. If you use a proxy, these are its outgoing (public) IP addresses, which your IT team or proxy provider can give you. We'll set it up and confirm once it's active.
If someone gets blocked, the "Access denied" page shows their current IP address. Send it to us if it should be added.
Can I restrict access to my Brandkit account to my organisation's network?
You can restrict access to your Brandkit account to approved IP addresses only, keeping your admin area, portal and API available only through your organisation’s network, VPN or proxy. Contact us with the IPv4 or IPv6 addresses or ranges you want to allow.
