HTML Email is Back
In Brandkit 2 after extensive research we decided that HTML email templates for system emails (sent by Brandkit) were not needed and in fact plain text emails performed better across the board, and saved Co2 as a bonus.
We talked about that decision here.

However many of our customers really missed the HTML email and argued (successfully) that the emails coming from their Brandkit™ powered Brand Toolkit should be branded. We had a re-think and agree.
So HTML emails are back.
HTML email template settings
Your HTML email template can be configured in Settings.
Please note: While in Beta - this is restricted to Brandkit staff only. So if you want a change made please contact us.
You’ll find the HTML Email template options under Admin > (1) Settings > (2) Email.
Once on the email page (3) click the Enable HTML email check-box and then Save at the bottom of the page . This will reload the page and display the Email Template options.
You can then set :
- Email header/logo
- Background colour
- Button colour
- Email signature in HTML
- Footer text in HTML
System emails
The Email template once configured is then used as a wrapper for all of your emails sent out from the Brandkit system.
Note that the email body is not editable and is standardized across all accounts. The exception is that for some emails you can add a personal message.
Here’s an example:

Brandkit Support required
For the time (while this feature is in Beta) being you will need to ask the Brandkit team to set this up for you. Contact your Brandkit person or email support@brandkit.io.
Thats it for now - Happy branding :)
