Q. What formats are supported when downloading videos?
Brandkit supports a variety of video formats. Quicktime .mov and .mp4 are the most popular.
When downloading the user can select between the original uploaded video and a down sampled 720p .mp4 that we automatically generate.

Videos that have been optimised for presentations and marketing purposes are good candidates for managing and sharing on Brandkit. It doesn’t make sense to manage non-edited raw footage files in Brandkit unless you are distributing specific chunked up raw footage for remixing by users.
We automatically generate a 720p .mp4 video for previewing in Brandkit, and for embedding in third party websites - with our video embed feature.

We also support adding YouTube videos as Link assets to Brandkit.
